Work Experience
- Dr. Israa has over seven years of experience working as a Pediatrician. Prior joining to Zulekha Hospital she served at Alkhalil Pediatrics Hospital in Khartoum Sudan where she worked diagnosing and treating wide range of diseases in children from birth to 18 years of age.
- Dr. Israa served as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics Department, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in Omdurman Islamic University. She has extensive experience working as a Pediatrics Endocrinology fellow in the Pediatrics Endocrinology Department at Gaafer Ibn Auf Tertiary Hospital and Sudanese Childhood Diabetes Center.
- Dr. Israa accomplished her specialty training from Government Sudan Medical Specialization Board. She also practiced alongside training in the emergency pediatrics department, general pediatrics, NICU, PICU, endocrinology, tropical medicine and infectious diseases, gastroenterology and primary health care, dermatology and ophthalmology.
