Before he left India for Saudi Arabia in 1992, he was working as an Assistant Professor of Radiology in Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, affiliated to B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

He started his career in Medicine in 1980 and graduated from B.J Medical College, Ahmedabad, INDIA in 1985, completed his Post graduation in Clinical Radiology from Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, Ahmedabad, INDIA in 1988 and received his Fellowship from Royal College of Radiologists, UK in 2006.
