Work Experience

• Dr. Mariam has over 25 years of experience in Laboratory Medicine and was associated with Zulekha Hospital for a long term as Lab HOD & Clinical Pathologist in Dubai and Sharjah. She had a short stint with Eurofin Biomnis Middle East Reference Laboratory, offering her clinical expertise in the field as a Lab Director & Chief Pathologist.
• Dr. Mariam has a vast experience in overseeing and reporting on tests in various fields including Hematology, Immunohematology, Blood Banking, Biochemistry, Immunology, Serology, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology. As a Lab Director, she ensures the delivery of quality services, provides clinical leadership, and implements policies to optimize efficiency. She ensures the achievement of strategic objectives for the laboratory in line with the organization's vision and mission, supports medical education and research, and actively participates in hospital committees and scientific forums.
• Dr. Mariam has also worked as Associate Professor of Clinical and Chemical Pathology, Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University. She has been the Medical Director of Cellsave Arabia, Stem Cell Bank, AABB accredited. She plays the role of Team Leader of College of American Pathologists Laboratory Inspections in the region, with an inspector recognition and honor certificate. Her dedication to the field has been recognized with the Univants of Healthcare Excellence 2021 Achievement Certificate for her contributions to Zulekha Hospital alongside a team of esteemed doctors. Additionally, her research has been showcased through poster presentations at international conferences.
