Work Experience

• Dr. Fadhil Hussein Ghayb Al Rubaye is an esteemed Consultant in Paediatric Cardiology. He is an expert at Cardiac catheterization (diagnostic and therapeutic), echocardiography, reading ECG reports, Holter monitor and exercise ECG. As a Consultant in Paediatric Cardiology, he is skilled in both non-invasive and interventional methods for congenital heart disease.
• He also worked as a Consultant Paediatric Cardiology at Jalila Children Specialty Hospital. Besides managing paediatric cardiology outpatient clinics he has handled in-patient cardiac ICU, Paediatric ICU, and Neonatal SBCU patients. He specializes in supporting other hospital departments (emergency, general paediatric, neonatology, GIT, Oncology, and Nephrology) and manages adult congenital and prenatal patients with congenital heart disease. He is qualified to certify patients’ fitness for surgery, attending school, travelling, military, anaesthesia and dental fitness.
• He gained hand-on experience working at the Ibn AlNafees Cardiac Center. He has served over a decade as a Consultant in Paediatric Cardiology and Head of Paediatric Cardiology at the Dubai Hospital Cardiac Center. He is also a clinical adjunct assistant professor at Dubai Medical College and Muhammad Bin Rashid University. He is passionate about sharing his experience and knowledge, and contributing significantly to the development of future healthcare professionals, particularly in the field of paediatric cardiology.
• He has trained at the Ibn Albitar Cardiac Centre and obtained fellowships in both general pediatrics and pediatric cardiology from Baghdad. Additionally, he holds a diploma from Madrid. His focus has been on addressing cardiac issues in young patients and overall child health.
• Dr. Fadhil is affiliated with esteemed associations, enhancing his skills in the field globally. He holds membership in organizations like the Emirates Medical Association (EMA), Emirates Cardiac Association (ECA), the Euro-Echo Association (EEA) and European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI), engaging in cutting-edge medical practices and research. Being a part of the Iraqi Heart Association and Iraqi Medical Association also underscores his dedication to contributing to healthcare initiatives in his home country.
